Twitchell received a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of
Denver in 1988 and a BS in Psychology at the University of Florida in
1983. She received her internship training at the University
Florida CAPS. Over the years she has worked at a variety of
settings including group and individual private practice, an employee
assistance program, university counseling centers, a domestic violence
shelter, a sexual assault treatment center, a headache clinic, schools,
psychiatric, medical and VA hospitals. She is an eclectic
